Wellhead protection is designed to help prevent contaminants from polluting
our drinking water. North Branch Municipal Water & Light has six wells and
two water treatment plants to assist in providing safe and reliable water to
residents of North Branch. The implementation of the wellhead protection MN Dept of Health
plan is to help protect our residents from groundwater contamination.
